Sitting here listening to my man teach our son some multiplication...things are getting a little intense...probably time to step away from it all.
Of course the boy was doing geometry work the other day...had the whole thing figured out and even changed the equations!! The boy is 9...I think that is pretty good.
Now he is just over thinking everything...I DON'T LIKE MATH!!! I am trying not to let him see this, but oh it is so frustrating to me sometimes. :)
Mr. T read a whole book today...will he do it for me? NOPE, he only did it for his brother.
He is so stubborn.
Lil' J...well she is trying to add...very cute. She has also been copying words...I love that she uses her left hand to start the word and then half way through switches hands to finish it off. What a clam!
It is almost 48 degrees out and there are random huge rain drops coming down out there...I am so tired of being cold...BUT the flowers are all in bloom!! No good for the allergies but oh so beautiful to the eyes! I keep telling myself that I am going to go out and take some photos...but it seems that that is what a lot of photographers do...so getting that one of a kind photo that is rarely done can be hard.
I did have a few dollars and decided to buy myself some watercolor paint a pad of paper and a paint palette the other day...I already have the brushes and stuff...Went to the library and picked up some watercolor books to refresh my memory, haven't done any water color work since high school...I will have to take a photo of the one I did for my dad...he had it framed! Hopefully it will be with in view when we go and see them this coming month!
Well there's the hail...I need to go get a sweater on...I'm freezing!!

For The Birds
My children made this with daddy this last weekend...(well my Mr. T and daddy)I was informed that the reason for the curvy roof was in case it rains. (like little gutters)
Just need to find something to hang it up with.

Long Weekend...
It was one long weekend...especially when my husband was not working...Again only two days of work last week!!! This is getting annoying...I'm praying he gets to work the whole four days but really he has only been getting three on a good week. He does have three day weekends and we do clean the church on one of those days but I think he gets really down on himself when he isn't able to work...well, allowed to work.
So hanging in there as best as we can. The Lord provides.
The rainy season has started and we most likely won't see any full sun until June!! ; )
Hahahah good ol' Oregon weather. Liquid sunshine is my favorite though especially when it is warm. This doesn't help my joints any or my occasional gloomy feeling but it makes everything green and beautiful in the end so I guess I can get through it.
All the birds are out right now singing and talking with each other. It is very calming to me.
Just wish I could get warm.
Celebrated my middle guys Birthday this weekend...He is a whoppin' 7 now!
My friend came over and we made the cake the night before.
And then I thought this was priceless... He has a chocolate ice cream mustache! He looks like a little man!!! 
Had to share this...He wrote out a recipe that "he wants to make" That is a whole lot of cornstarch! 
I found this yesterday...Big brother reading to his siblings...very sweet!!
Off to go do something else...need to get the kids going on their learning for the day.
Have a good one...and Happy St. Patrick's Day tomorrow!

Blog Changes
So I made some changes...Don't know how much I like it but it will do for now.

Still can't figure out what the "undefined"under the blog title means...it is ugly and I don't want it...Can anyone tell me how to get rid of it???

Tuesday
Haven't been around here much. Spend a lot more time on Facebook lately.
We are all finally starting to feel better, still have a nasty cough but it's all good.
Starting to get back in the school groove...it has been a struggle to get cooperation from the kids but it will get better. I hope...Because again I am faced with whether or not I am going to place them in school. Money is extremely tight and I don't know if there will be any way of getting more curriculum for the kids this year. I know there are things I can get for free online but don't know if that is enough. We will just do our best.
I really want to get the two younger reading this year. Mr. T will be 7 in 12 days and he just does not want to read at all...I have tried to find books that he might be interested in but he just won't do it. Very stubborn child!
Still reading Karen Andreola's Charlotte Mason Companion book and really like it...need to maybe find a copy for myself because I don't know how many times they will let me check it out of the library. ; )
Well yup, the same ol' same ol' my life is boring...the only exciting thing that has happened is I sold something in my Etsy shop and it is headed to Madrid (Spain)!! that is pretty cool. : )
I am also making something right now but I can't share it with you until after it has been done and given. So you will have to wait for a photo and details. : )
